Well, it’s a super late post i know, since the event was like a week ago. But its better than nothing (lets just say i’ve been busy with my thesis). So i want to update my journey when i attended Japan Beauty Week on January 26th, last week. I went there with my Sunshine and Pascal (my disney chameleon doll) I didnt spend much time there, i dont really following the event, i didnt watch the makeup or skincare demonstration or beauty blogger talkshow, but i visited some of beauty booth there!

Japan Beauty Week was held by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan, collaborated with Japan Cosmetic Industry Association. It was on January 23-26 in Plaza Senayan Mall, Jakarta.
They have beauty talk show with blogger, makeup demonstration by famous makeup artist, product demonstration and beauty booths! Kawaii Beauty Japan also open a booth there!
Anyway, here’s the list of brand that participated:
1. Astalift Indonesia
2. Kanebo Cosmetic Indonesia
3. Kracie Hadabisei
4. Menard Indonesia
5. Rohto Hada Labo Indonesia
6. Panasonic Beauty
So here’s my journey back then~

Well, i should say that i only visit 4 booths there, Kracie, Astalift, Hada Labo and Kanebo booths, oh plus Kawaii Beauty Japan booth, it’s 5. I wanted to visit Menard as well, but the booth was kinda full of people when i went there and my bf already asked me to leave, so yeah, maybe next time.

So first booth i pay a visit was Hada Labo booth. The attendants came right at me and offered to check my skin. Of course i said yes!
They asked my name and where i live for their data. And after that one of attendant check my skin moisture (arm part) with skin checker device (cool right).
After first check, they put on Hada Labo Gokuyjun Lotion and then checked it again with the device. At first attempt, my skin moisture was 43,4 and after they put on the lotion it increased to about 67,1. Wow right. I guess the item is pretty much good for your skin moisture!
After that the attendant suggested that i should check on my face skin too! I agreed (i never check my skin before, i was kinda nervous actually), but i should wait because there were two girls who were checking their skin too.
Finally it was my turn! So first i gave her my data first before my skin got checked (i was exciting, trust me hahha)
Anyway here’s the device, big round face checker device.
All you have to do is put your face right there, and then the cam inside the device will take the picture of your full face.
So she showed me my result, and yeah it was kinda disturbing for me because my skin have so many damage!! GLEK! Anyway she told me that mostly i have this acne scars around my cheek, chin and around my eyebrow. Then she told me i have this black spot mostly near my eyes. I was like OH GOD OH GOD, but i stayed cool. So, i should take care of my skin more frequently and SLEEP on time (thanks skin checker you made me realize T_T).
And soooo i got free samples! Yippie! I got mini Hada Labo Gokuyjun face wash and lotion. The product claimed it can make your skin softer and stays elastic, also moisture skin. But i dont know, i havent try it yet (right now im trying lemongrass soap that i bought recently, so i will try to write a review of this Hada Labo when i use it later).

Okay then i moveee to another booth. Second i visited Kracie Hadabisei booth. The attendant came towards me and offered to fill up their form and try their mask for free! So yeah, why not :D
I got free samples too! A mask and ichikami shampoo+conditioner sachets!
Before applying the mask, she clean up my face (since i used a foundie) with their Kracie makeup remover, it was soft and i love the smell! After my face cleaned, she put some lotion, she said so the skin will absorb well the mask content. Anyway i used acne care mask (the green one).
My boyfriend was quite exciting to see me wearing mask and look ugly, so he took a lot of pictures, here’s some picture ;)
While waiting the mask for 15 mins, she also offered me to try the ichikami hair treatment water spray, it smelled soooo nice! It’s cherry blossom fragrance, oh sweet :3
Anyway she told me that the water spray is to freshened your hair and make your hair more silky and shinny and it does was nice and refreshing. I like it, if only its not that expensive i would love to buy one, but since it’s quite expensive (at least for me), maybe next time, i have something better to buy, hehhee
So after i was done with the mask, my skin felt niceeee and refreshed (i loveee using mask! im just lazy)
Last, she offered me to use Kracie acne cream. Well i cant say that they work like magic, i mean my acne is still there, but maybe with constant use of the product, the acne will gone, but idk (maybe i will try this product later). Overall i had a really nice experience with this product, also the attendant was helpful and super nice!

I visited Kawaii Beauty Japan booth too! Filled up some questionnaire and got free sticker, pen and little note book! Cute :)

I visited Kaneboo Cosmetic booth too, but then suddenly it got crowded. I dont really like crowd, so i decided to step back. But i saw their products, eyeshadow with pretty colors and lipstick! Too bad cant try em, but maybe nex time ;)

So then i check another booth, it was Astalift booth. So the attendant approached me (okay just FYI he was kinda cute, ahahhaa well if he read this he’ll probably laugh, whatever) and offered skin check. Wohoo another skin check, so it was a yes.
As usual, i filled in some data before the checking
Then he check my face skin, it was on my cheek. Anyway that’s the device and my result! Moisture 80 and elasticity 90, wohoo it was nice (finally i have something to cheer about from this skin checking thingy, even the attendant said WOW, so it was a good sign right)
Then he offered me to try Astalift Jelly Aquarysta. The product claim to solve this problem: dark spots, lines and dull skin, delivering visibly younger, more luminous and ‘replumped’ skin. But i wasnt that fond of the smell, or at least i remembered it that way, i forgot how it smelled now. But it doesnt feel sticky and just feel nice on skin.
I also tried their foundation and powder. Well the foundie didnt do well on my hand, it turns slightly grey on me but in the other hand the powder came up nice. They also have a discounted product, you see the red small package there? it was like a travel edition of some of Astalift product, it was about 120k. I wanted to buy and try it but my bf gave me “that” look of ‘you already buy so many things’ (i did buy some expensive dolls with his money, so yeah maybe i’ll try em later). Anyway no free gift from Astalift (maybe because it was the last day), but i dont mind it since i already tried some of the product.

Well that was all, we wanted to go else where so i said goodbye to the event. Fun event, except the brands that participated were just a few, i hope next time the event will be bigger, i’ll sure come again!
