Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Review

Hello my adorable angels!

Just like i told you in the last post, im gonna try to copy beauty posts that i already made on my tumblr! It's not much, since like i told you, im lazy, so it's gonna be easier to move it one by one, rather than connected my blogger n tumblr and move all the post (way too many personal posts, been there and i deleted the blog). Hahaha.

So it was my first review ever, and i dont want to edit the content, so if you ever read it before, you dont have to read it anymore, it's the same like my tumblr :)
----- Here we go~

So, like i promised, now im gonna review about Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay. This kinda one of my fave mask, so let’s start.

And this is what inside:

As you can see, it’s a greyish powder which is a bentonite clay from California that’s super duper good for our skin! Even Cleopatra used the clay for beauty ritual! (according to the website).

Okay, so i quote this from the website (http://www.aztec-secret.com)
Clays have been used for centuries to beautify and refresh when used as a facial mask.
Cleopatra used clay from the Nile river and the Arabian desert over 1800 years ago, as part of her beauty ritual.
German and Roman spas have been using clay packs and treatments in the spas they built 4,000 years ago. Many of these spas still exist and use clay even today.
Pliney the Elder devoted an entire chapter of his Natural History” to the many uses of clay for pimples, black heads and skin tightening.
Many famous naturopaths, such as Kuhn, Just and Kneipp have contributed to the revival of the uses of clay through their natural treatments for arthritus and skin ailgments.
The use of clay with apple cider vinegar can be dated back to the southern French priest of the16th century, Kneipp, and his natural treatments using clay packs and poultices.
Throughout history the use of clay, specifically green clay or bentonite, is well documented. To learn more about clay, look for “Our Earth Our Cure” by Raymond Dexteit, translated by Michel Abehsera in your local health food store or book store.
AZTEC SECRET INDIAN HEALING CLAY is bentonite clay from Death Valley, California, where it is sun- dried for up to six months in temperatures that sometimes reach 134 degrees.

See, looks promising ain’t it?
The clay mask is used for pull out the toxins from our face. Dont trust me? Okay, here’s another thing that i quote from the website:
HOW IT WORKS?
The unique structure of the molecules in Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay carry a negative electron charge. This comes from the valance electron count from the specific minerals found in Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay.
When a spectographic analysis is done on Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay, almost every mineral found on Earth is present. Aztec Secret is volcanic Ash from when the Earth was formed It is the foam residue left as the planet cooled The foam residue formed a pure clay vein layered between white sand, near one of the lowest parts of planet Earth.
When a facial or clay poultice is applied to the skin it forms a negative charge. Poisons and toxins stored in the epidermis have a positive charge - Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay lifts the pimple and blackheads into the clay bed to cause accelerated healing and nourishment to the skin with over 50 minerals.100% NATURAL.
Soooo, it is used to pull out the toxins from our face, that’s why it makes pimples and blackhead run off. As you can see, the clay looks like a miracle, who doesnt hate pimples or blackhead? It’s like the answer for it (at least it’s the answer for people whose face is compatible with the clay). And it works best if you mix it with Apple Cider Vinegar and not just water. Im using Heinz apple cider vinegar for the mix. Here’s the pic:
Now let me explain how to use it:
all you need is Aztec Clay and Apple Cidder Vinegar

1. if i use it only for myself im gonna mix one teaspoon of Aztec Secret Clay with 1-2 tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar in my glass plate and mix it with my plastic spoon (better if you used glass or plastic, better avoid steel or something like that for the mixing, it’s not suggested on the website)
Put the vinegar and you’ll see, there’s some reaction and it will sounds “psfffttt” hahhaa.

2. stir the clay powder and the apple vinegar until it become a paste, you can add more vinegar or the clay powder as you want.

3. anyway after it looks like a smooth paste (not too thick, not too slushy, just a nice smooth paste), apply with medium thickness in your face, or you can use it only in the nose area, or other area, whatever you like. I usually use it all over my face.
see, a nice smooth paste

i used plastic spoon to spread the mask all over my face

then i used my finger to spread it evenly

4. leave it and let it dry, the mask will pull your face and it actually a nice sensation, it’s gonna pull your face and make it tight, your face gonna feel pulsate in a nice way (according to me, because i like how it feels)
my face right after i put on the mask

about 5-10 mins after that, the mask started to crack

5. you can leave it for 5 to 30 minutes, time may vary, it’s depends on you, but usually im gonna leave it about 30 mins until the mask fully dry and crack. Then im gonna wash it with warm water.

after 25mins, it dried and cracked and look a bit annoying, but the mask was already tight enough, it made my skin itch, hahaha. Time to wash the mask off.

6. Your face gonna turns red after you wash it (it’s normal), but do not wash it with cold water just yet, run to your mirror, grab your facial equipment or just use your clean hand, and squeezed all the cooked pimples and squeezed your nose and see your black/white head come from your pores. Or you can use the pore pack (but it doesnt work out for me). Usually i use pore pack as additional effort after i squeeze the nose to get rid of the black/white heads.

my face looks slightly red

lets squeeze all the pimples and white/black heads!!!! See my pimple cooked and ready to get squeeze out of my face.

7. after done and satisfied with the squeezing, go wash your face with normal/cold water and feel fresh, the redness will gone soon enough, so dont worry.

still slightly red, but it will be okay in a few mins ahead

So that’s how i use it, now let me quote the directions for use from the website:
Directions for use:
Mix AZTEC SECRET INDIAN HEALING CLAY with equal parts of apple cider vinegar* or water. It is best to use a glass, pottery, or wooden bowl. Stir the mixture until it is a smooth paste - add more clay or liquid as needed. Apply 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick layer of clay to the face or other areas and let it dry. Drying times vary, but times are generally 5 minutes for delicate skin and 15- 20 minutes for normal skin. You will feel a pulling and tightening sensation.
Remove clay by washing with warm water. A slight redness may appear after removing the clay. This is normal and will disappear in approximately 30minutes. AZTEC SECRET INDIAN HEALING CLAY helps to remove dirt and impurities from the pores of the skin. The clay is beneficial for deep pore cleansing of the skin.

So that’s the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay, the result?
Here, let me elaborate it for you;
Okay, i was curious enough to buy this stuff without really knowing how to use it properly, at first using it, i didnt feel the effect, my pimples stayed the same, black/white head was just as annoying as before, nada, no effect (i found out that i made a little mistakes here, i should try to get rid of the pimples and black/white head while i can, not just wait for it to go by itself).
Then, still curious with this stuff, i tried for the second time, this time after i washed the clay off with warm water, i started to squeezed hard every pimples i had, it looked a bit cooked after using the clay, so i squeezed and squeezed until the annoying white thingy came from some of the pimples. Then, as for my annoying nose, i squeezed it hard too until it turned kinda red, BUT, the white/black head came from my pores!
I was so exciting that i keep squeezing them for a couple minutes and tadaaaa my nose looked cleaner from those annoying white/black heads, and it felt so soft and smooth (even thought it still red). I was so happy with the result, my nose was clean, and some of my pimples started to heal! And so i continued for the third time, and i got my nose clean once again! LOVE IT, better than using pore pack or something like that! Now im gonna keep using it at least once a week or once in two weeks, but i guess do not use it for more than once in a week.
